Why does Cubase (OSX) crash when powering minitaur down?

Unfortunately this is known issue which we could not solve as it seems Cubase related.

Cubase OSX may crash when powering the minitaur down during a session. The instruction to the user would be not to power off minitaur while using Cubase.
